The Best Deep Sea Fishing in Cape May!

These special fishing grounds 20 miles south of Cape May produce some of the largest Fluke ever weighed up at our docks. Come aboard with Captain Mike and his secret spots to hook into these monster Flounder! This is a special All Day trip targeting Summer Flounder around structure. Jigs, Bucktails, Gulp are recommended. We have our custom squid and mackerel fluke baits available. The Miss Chris Tackle Shop offers a huge selection of Spro Bucktails, deep water Fluke Rigs, and Gulp baits to purchase before departure. Weather policy- Captain makes the call morning of. Will not sail in winds over 15 mph due to distance traveled. If the Captain cancels, you will have the opportunity to reschedule or refund.

What You'll See & Do

Come aboard for an all day adventure in search of the rocks and wrecks where these delicious local favorites live. We will venture to points South and East in search of doormat sized Fluke. This is an all day advenutre designed for seasoned experts. We do not recommend these trips for children. Rod rentals are available. If you are unfamiliar with fishing structure for Fluke or Sea Bass, the mates can assist you, but we recommend a chat at the Miss Chris Tackle Shop before departure to get accustomed to this fishery, and the types of rigs utilized. You will want to bring extra jigs and rigs.

Food is not included but there is a snack bar available. You may bring your own food and drink, even beer (cans preferred and no more than 6 pack per person)

Important To Know

A fishing license is included for every passenger. We are regulated by the National Marine Fisheries, subject to all federal and State of New Jersey Recreational Saltwater Marine Fisheries Regulations. During the striped bass season, we participate in the NJ Bonus Tag Program for striped bass.

Arrive 30 minutes prior to departure (60 minutes prior in July and August, and holidays).

Open boat trips occur daily but advance purchase is recommended to avoid disappointment. In most cases, purchasing in person on the day of the trip is fine.

Everything you need to fish is on board the boat. If you are looking for special bait like; live minnows and eels, GULP, special rigs or bucktails, MOJOs, Niners, diamond jigs, and other cutting-edge tackle, see Capt Bob in the Miss Chris Tackle Shop. Rods and reels are $5 to rent on a 4-hour trip. Rods are manufactured by Gull and reels are by Penn and Shimano.

Meeting Point

You will park and meet at the Miss Chris Marina. You can park in our parking lot as long as a parking attendant tells you where to park. You may also park on the street if you can find a legal spot.
